U -CAT 410 is a low curing temperature bisphenol A type epoxy resin curing agent. It is a clear, colorless liquid with a slight odor. U-CAT 410 is compatible with a wide range of epoxy resins and can be used to produce high-performance composites with good mechanical properties.

Production method

U-CAT 410 is produced by the reaction of bisphenol A and epichlorohydrin. The reaction is carried out in the presence of a base catalyst such as sodium hydroxide. The reactionA mixture of different epoxy resins is produced and then separated by distillation.

Use

U-CAT 410 is used as a curing agent for epoxy resins. It is often used in combination with a hardener such as 4,4‘-diaminodiphenylmethane (DDM). Epoxy resin and hardener are mixed together and then cured at temperatures of 100°C or higher. The curing process produces a strong and durable composite material with good mechanical properties.
