Sulfonation of 1,2,3-trichlorobenzene into salt and high-pressure hydrolysis to obtain 3,4-dichloro-
2-Hydroxybenzenesulfonic acid is obtained by hydrolysis with sulfuric acid to remove the sulfonic acid group.
