Polycat 17 is a tertiary amine-based foaming catalyst that promotes urea (water-isocyanate) reactions in a variety of rigid and flexible polyurethane foam applications. It is the industry standard foaming catalyst for flexible foams and is used in TDI-based flexible foam systems such as mattresses, seating and automotive. It is also used in conjunction with a trimer catalyst in PIR laminate board formulations.
