U-CAT 5002 is a latent curing accelerator specially developed for epoxy resin/anhydride curing system. It is the salt of a derivative of tetraphenylborate with DBU. U-CAT 5002 is homogeneously soluble in acid anhydrides such as methyl THPA and methyl HHPA. It is insoluble in liquid epoxy resins such as EPIKOTE 828.
